Typically, this list is a bit more varied, but this year, 2 films made up over half of my top 10. The Banshees of Inisherin and Everything Everywhere All at Once were not just my top two films of the year, they happened to be ensemble pieces that featured some incredible performances, which just so happened to dominate the top of my list. In total, The Banshees of Inisherin raked in a whopping 5 entries on my list, tying it with Women Talking for the most appearances. Everything Everywhere All at Once was right behind these two, as it and The Inspection each have 4 performances represented. Hit the Road, Broker, Triangle of Sadness, Paris 13th District, The Fabelmans, After Yang, and The Innocents also did very well, with 3 performances on my list apiece.

There were also two standout actors. Colin Farrell and Andrea Riseborough both made my top ten, and are the only performers to have two performances apiece on my list.

Those are my picks. What were some of your favorite performances this year? Did they make my list? Let me know!
